Older felt roofs are one of the most common causes of leaks and damp we get called out for. Sometimes a leak is a simple, inexpensive patch repair; other times the felt has reached the end of its life and a re-cover is the more sensible long-term fix. We won't recommend a full re-cover unless it's genuinely needed.
Our repair process starts with properly tracing the source of the leak, not just patching the spot where the water is showing up inside, which is often some distance from the actual failure point. Once we know what's really going on, we'll give you a straight, no-obligation quote.
If a re-cover is the right call, we can also advise on upgrading to GRP or EPDM instead of felt, both of which offer a longer lifespan.
